The Great Plains Zoo is situated on 45 acres and is home to many species of animals. The zoo actively participates in cooperative programs aimed at the conservation and care of animals. The Delbridge Museum of Natural History houses a collection of over 150 mounted specimens from around the world. All of these animals were hunted legally. This museum is dedicated to preserving the culture of the west and Northern Plains, and has over 35,000 volumes in its archival library.
